Bedtime

We told the kids that bedtime on Sunday is 6 pm. They laughed. So Nathan said "well, then Mommy and Daddy will go to bed." The kids said "Woohoo - let's party." Then when I walked downstairs like two minutes later they looked genuinely surprised! Did they really think we would let them rule the household?
