For our Christmas vacation we went to Sea World. We spent a day and a half at the park and two nights in a hotel suite. It was SO much fun. The kid had a blast and hopefully we made memories that will last a lifetime. Here is Mara at Clyde and Seymour's Countdown to Christmas.
This was our first show of the night which explains why no one is frozen yet!
This picture was quite a bit later when we WERE frozen. It was so cold and windy that night. But we went to see Sesame Street's Christmas show, saw snow falling, watched a juggler and saw the beautiful Sea of Trees which was a bunch of trees made out of lights all over the water - the trees even changed colors - it was beautiful. Koen spent the night in his Moby wrap from Teri. He was the only one who was warm all night - he slept SO soundly. We endured all the way through the ice skating show and were quite pleased with the fireworks at the end.
The girls posed for pictures in front of Shamu!
Here is Chloe' at a Shamu show. This was on Christmas Eve - yes, she is sweaty because the kids spent most of the day playing in the HUGE net climb and running from ride to ride. The kids made new friends while playing - Mara's friend was even from another country. We think she was from Greece! Dallen, Mara and their new friend played for quite some time.

This is Shamu's stadium. The kids actually wanted to sit in the soak zone, but we decided not to this time. Too cold.
The kids enjoyed all the rides in Shamu's Happy Harbor. The best part was - there was NO waiting!!! It really made it a lot more fun. Turns out Christmas Eve is a wonderful time to go to Sea World.
Look at these cute thangs!!

Somehow they did not get tired of spinning.
More spinning. Their favorite ride though would have to be the Shamu roller coaster. They rode it over and over and over again.
Here are the kids enjoying the acrobats and Nutcracker drummers. It was awesome!! At one point one of the Nutcracker guys leaned back so far but he only went part of the way down his legs!! (If that makes any sense). It was really cool.
Here we are hanging out under the net climb. We did enjoy lunch at Mango Joe's. We took lots of snacks but forgot to bring most of them to the park - sillies.
Dallen loves polar bears and asked if he could go give the fuzzy polar bear a hug. So cute!! The only Christmas event we missed was the Polar Express experience - maybe next year.
Here are the girls again - being all cute. This was right before they went on their first big roller coaster - Manta.
This was after the girls first big roller coaster ride. Chloe' LOVED it - she giggled and screamed the whole time, Nathan said. Brooklynn was quite nervous. At the end Brooklynn was sitting with her head forward and Nathan grabbed her by the hair afraid she had passed out. Yipes. Glad I was not on it to see that. They all loved it though and want to go again.

Christmas morning we woke up and drove home to all the kids' presents - it was great.

Thursday night we did all the Christmas shows which left Christmas Eve wide open for the rides.
