Morning Walk

We went for a sunrise walk on the beach this week and this is what we found. We found a ton of jellyfish but once we got home we realized they were Portuguese Man of War. A bit educational but so grateful no one stepped on one!

This was the highlight of the walk - a tennis shoe covered in barnacles. My first comment was "I hope there is not a leg to go with it!" But once we looked at it closer it made me think of Pirates of the Caribbean "Part of the ship, part of the crew"

Overall it was a fun morning - the kids all look kind of sleepy in the pictures though!
