Literal children

I just love how literal children are. Mara, Anderson and Dallen are playing downstairs. I was reading and heard Dallen tell Anderson that if he would give him the Mickey toy that Dallen would let Anderson be Chris always (they have a habit of pretending to be other people - Chris is part of playing Parson's). So Dallen said it again "If you give me Mickey you can be Chris always." I asked Dallen "Are you really going to stand by that?" He turned to his side and looked at the floor!! When I realized that he thought I literally meant standing by something I just chuckled. How adorable, sweet and innocent.
